As a designer, I consistently worked with professionals who created art “on the side”. When I was faced with heartbreak and wanted to express it creatively, it dawned on me that the folks I worked with might feel the same. I reached out and created Love…According to Us an exhibit featuring amateur and professional artists musings on love. Displayed at Rogue Space in Chelsea, the show also featured the artwork of students from Dr. Susan S. Mckinney Secondary School of the Arts in Brooklyn. All work was up for sale, with 50% of each sale going to the artist and 50% going to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
